You can use "What" to translate the dutch words wat en welke. If you are asking for a person or a thing you use 'What.' When a questions starts with what and ends with a proposition, the meaning of the word what becomes waar. 

In combination with the word like, what means hoe in Dutch. 

Which shop do you prefer?

If you have to make a choice, you use which.

Make an interview consisting out of twenty relevant questions you can ask you best friend. Post the interview on your blog.

Picture this: You are working for a magazine and you have to interview you favorite actor or actress. You want to know a view of there secrets and you are curious about up coming project. Which 15 questions are you going to ask this person. Use the internet for reference. (sadly you can't really talk to this person)
